Magnitude 3.4 earthquake strikes Caspian Sea

A magnitude 3.4 earthquake struck the Caspian Sea early on Thursday, the Republican Seismological Service Centre said.

The tremor was recorded at 0309 local time, according to the centre.

The earthquake originated at a depth of 20 km.
