Gun owner in İdrak lyceum shooting case becomes suspect
The owner of the weapon used in a shooting at the İdrak lyceum in Baku has been brought into the case.
The person in question is the father of the accused student. According to the investigation, the teenager used a hunting rifle belonging to him.
The incident took place in February at the İdrak lyceum in Baku. According to case materials, a 10th-grade student brought a hunting rifle to the school and shot mathematics teacher Shahla Kamilova.
The preliminary investigation into the student has already been completed. He is accused of attempted murder. As the defendant is a minor, he faces up to 10 years in prison if found guilty.
