Fire breaks out at Baku oil refinery

A fire broke out at an oil refinery located in Baku’s Nizami district, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations said.

According to the ministry, a report of the fire was received through the emergency hotline “112”. Firefighting units of the State Fire Protection Service were immediately dispatched to the scene.

Efforts to extinguish the fire are currently ongoing.
