Temperatures in Azerbaijan to reach 35C on Thursday

Temperatures in Azerbaijan are expected to reach 35 degrees Celsius in some parts of the country on Thursday.

Baku and the Absheron peninsula are forecast to experience mainly dry weather with variable cloud cover. Moderate north-easterly winds are expected during the day.

Temperatures in the capital will range from 21-26 degrees Celsius at night and rise to 30-35 degrees during the day.

Mostly dry weather is expected across the regions, although brief rain and thunderstorms are possible in some mountainous areas in the evening.

July is traditionally one of the hottest months in Azerbaijan, with temperatures in some regions exceeding 35 degrees Celsius.
