Interior Ministry: 49 crimes solved across Azerbaijan in 24 hours

Azerbaijani police solved 49 criminal cases across the country on August 24, according to a statement released by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). 

During the reporting period, law enforcement authorities resolved 45 newly registered offenses alongside 4 unsolved cases carried over from previous periods. Police also detained and handed over 120 individuals on wanted lists, including 105 individuals sought as civil debtors. 

Furthermore, operations uncovered 18 illicit drug trafficking cases and 7 instances involving the confiscation of unregistered arms and ammunition, leading to the detention of 37 criminal suspects.
