International Sign Language Section Launched on Jestdili.az with Nar’s Support

Affordable mobile operator Nar has launched a new version of the Jestdili.az project. The platform’s design and structure have been updated, new features have been introduced to enhance the user experience, and a new international sign language section has been added.

The new section features video materials for 100 words in international sign language, as well as the alphabet. To help users identify signs more quickly and easily, a video preview feature has been added to the “Categories” section. This allows users to view the relevant sign in a short video without opening the word entry.

Alongside the addition of new words, the words and expressions already available on the platform are regularly reviewed, with their video guides improved and updated. New actors are being engaged to produce the visual explanations, while regular updates are introduced to make the platform more accessible and user-friendly.

Jestdili.az was awarded first place at the NETTY National Internet Awards in 2022 and achieved the same distinction at the International Public Relations Association (IPRA) Golden World Awards in 2023, establishing itself as one of Nar’s most successful initiatives in the areas of inclusion and corporate social responsibility.
