Azerbaijan extends special quarantine regime until Jan. 2, 2027

Azerbaijan has extended its special quarantine regime until 0600 local time on January 2, 2027, under a decision signed by Prime Minister Ali Asadov.

The government said the extension was aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19 and its potential consequences.

The special quarantine regime had previously been due to remain in force until 0600 on October 1, 2026.
