BakıKart and Mastercard Launch Public Transit Promo: Every 4th Ride for Just 1 Qapik

BakıKart and Mastercard have introduced a joint promotional campaign offering passengers across Baku's metro and municipal bus networks every fourth ride for just 0.01 AZN (1 qapik).

According to BakıKart, the promotion applies to contactless (NFC) digital transactions made via Apple Pay and Google Pay using Mastercard cards issued by Azerbaijani banks. Passengers who complete three journeys at the standard fare will automatically receive the fourth ride for 1 qapik.

Qualifying trips do not need to occur on the same day. Each card can leverage this discounted fare up to five times per calendar month, and the unlocked promotional ride remains redeemable for 30 days following the third paid trip.
