Instagram finally lets you switch between accounts

People who have more than one Instagram account will soon be able to switch between them at the touch of a button.
In its latest update, Instagram is letting its members bring multiple accounts together in one place for the first time, without having to sign out and sign back in again.
This means users with an account for themselves, their business, their blog, or even their pet, can maintain more than one account on the same device.
Instagram, which now has more than 300 million users, announced it is rolling out Account Switching on both iOS and Android devices.
Users with the update can go to their profile settings to add an additional account and then tap their username at the top of their profile to switch between accounts.
'Once you have multiple accounts added, you'll see your profile photo appear in places throughout the app so you can always tell which one you're using at the moment,' Instagram explained in a blog post.
As for notifications, the social media giant said users will be alerted for all likes, new followers and direct messages for the accounts they have set up on Instagram.
However, this will depend on when they last logged in and the number of devices that are logged in to an account.
To manage these notifications, users can go their profile, go to Push Notification Settings in Settings and customise which notifications appear.
To remove an account, tap in the top right corner of the profile, scroll down and select Log out of [username] or Log out of All Accounts.
Logging out of all accounts will remove all the accounts a person has added.
Account switching will be available as part of version 7.15 of the app for both iOS and Android devices.
Instagram said the update will roll out to users gradually, and has told people to keep an eye out for it hitting the app stores later this week.
The last major update Instagram rolled out was a new messaging system allowing users to exchange messages in private and group conversations in a bid to make users want to stay on its mobile app or web site longer.
It was also an attempt to take on rival messaging app Snapchat, which has 100 million users and growing.
