Azerbaijan's insurance market grows by nearly 13%

In January- June of 2025, 817.048 million manats (just over $480,6 million) of insurance premiums were collected through 16 insurance companies in Azerbaijan, representing a 12.7% increase year-on-year

During the reporting period, payments from insurance companies grew by 21.2% to 432.198 million manats (over $254.2 million).

In the first half of the year, 52.9 manats ($31.12) of insurance premiums were returned to customers for every 100 manats ($58.82) collected in the insurance market. This figure stood at 49.2 manats ($28.94) in the same period of 2024.
