Crypto market hits record high

The total value of the cryptocurrency market has surpassed $4 trillion for the first time, driven by the growth of key digital currencies, according to Coinmarketcap data.
As of August 11, the market capitalization reached $4.06 trillion, with Bitcoin accounting for $2.43 trillion and Ethereum at $519 billion. According to Binance data at 12:46 Baku time, Bitcoin rose by 3.01%, reaching $121,751, while Ethereum increased by 1.63% to $4,280.
The record price for Ethereum was recorded on November 10, 2021, at $4,868, while Bitcoin reached its peak on July 14, 2025, hitting $123,218.
Over the past 24 hours, over 93,500 traders were liquidated on global crypto exchanges, totaling around $300 million. The majority of liquidations were in Bitcoin: approximately $210.7 million in short positions and $89.74 million in long positions, according to Coinglass.
