The two-year Birbank student scholarship program successfully concluded

Launched by Kapital Bank in 2023, the Birbank Student Scholarship Program has successfully come to an end. At the initial stage of the selection process, more than 3,000 students applied, out of which 15 outstanding candidates earned the title of “Birbank Scholars” and received a monthly scholarship of 300 AZN for two years.
The scholarship holders graduated from 8 leading universities of the country, specializing in computer science, information technology, finance, law, economics, and other fields. Throughout the program, they benefited not only from financial support, but also from real work experience at Kapital Bank, participation in various professional trainings and seminars, as well as individual development opportunities through mentorship.
At the closing ceremony, Aygun Hasanova, director of the Talent management department at Kapital Bank, addressed the participants with questions about the knowledge and experience they had gained over the two years, as well as initiatives that could be implemented to further improve such programs aimed at supporting student development.
Significantly, two graduates of the program, Samin Huseynov and Yagub Ahmadov, were admitted to master’s programs at the University of Cambridge and Imperial College London – both ranked among the world’s top ten universities.
It should be noted that a new student development program will be announced in the near future.
