Analyst at BCS sees bitcoin rising above $117,500 next week

Bitcoin is set to climb above $117,500 next week, senior analyst at BCS World of Investments Sergey Potapov told Gazeta.ru.
Potapov said the cryptocurrency confirmed support around $108,000 in early September before turning higher. The price now trades above $117,000 and is moving toward the $117,500–120,000 resistance zone, signaling a medium-term bullish impulse.
He said volatility will remain elevated in the coming weeks as key macroeconomic data are released and the U.S. Federal Reserve continues to cut interest rates. By late September or early October, bitcoin could reach $128,000–130,000, Potapov forecast.
On Sept. 18, bitcoin traded at about $117,100, up 14–15% since the start of 2025.
