Tax data point to economic growth in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan had 1,674,984 registered taxpayers as of Jan. 1, with 86.8% being individuals and 13.2% legal entities and other organisations, the State Tax Service under the economy ministry said.

The total number of taxpayers rose 4.9% from early 2025. Individual taxpayers increased 4.6%, while legal entities rose 6.6%, signalling faster growth in the corporate sector.

Registered commercial organisations totalled 204,065, up 7.2% year on year.
