The price of Azerbaijan’s Azeri Light crude oil fell by $3.63 to $69.72 per barrel, trading data showed.

The decline came amid broader weakness in global oil markets, as investors weighed demand prospects and potential shifts in supply balances against ongoing geopolitical uncertainty and expectations surrounding monetary policy in major economies.

Azeri Light typically trades at a premium to benchmark crudes due to its high quality and low sulphur content, but remains exposed to wider market volatility.

Analysts said further price movements would likely depend on signals from major oil-consuming countries, developments affecting supply from key exporters and the overall outlook for the global economy.
