Azerbaijan is exploring a strategic partnership with Microsoft to establish a Digital Capability Center (DCC) aimed at accelerating digital transformation across the country's industrial and public sectors.

The discussions took place during a meeting between Azerbaijan’s First Deputy Minister of Economy, Elnur Aliyev, and Barbora Paulovic Dekkerova, Microsoft’s President for Central Europe and Central Asia.

The proposed center will serve as a hub for showcasing advanced digital solutions, developing AI technologies, and upskilling the national workforce.

Microsoft’s involvement is expected to strengthen Azerbaijan’s innovation ecosystem, aligning with the country’s economic priorities to foster a high-tech, data-driven economy.
