Main index indicators of world stock markets
The Dow Jones index in the U.S. stock markets fell by 1.61% to 47,954.74 points, the S&P 500 index declined by 0.56% to 6,830.71 points, and the Nasdaq index decreased by 0.26% to 22,784.99 points.
In European stock markets, the FTSE 100 index dropped by 1.45% to 10,413.94 points, Germany’s DAX index fell by 1.61% to 23,815.75 points, and France’s CAC-40 index declined by 1.49% to 8,045.80 points.
On global markets, the euro rose by 0.01% against the U.S. dollar, reaching $1.1610.
