Gold rises, silver falls

Gold prices increased by 0.28% to $4,692.8 per ounce, according to exchange data.

Silver, meanwhile, declined by 0.36% to $72.66 per ounce.

The State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) purchased 15.8 tonnes of gold in the second quarter of 2025.

According to the fund, the share of gold in its investment portfolio reached 28.8% as of July 1 last year, up by 3 percentage points compared to April 1.
