Russia's Rosatom starts final evacuation from Bushehr nuclear plant in Iran
Azerbaijan’s oil and condensate production fell to 6.6 million metric tons in January–March 2026 from 6.9 million tons in the same period a year earlier, the energy ministry said.
Gas production was unchanged at 12.6 billion cubic metres (bcm), while oil exports declined to 5.2 million tonnes from 5.7 million tonnes.
Britain’s BP reduced its oil output in Azerbaijan to 3.9 million tonnes from 4.0 million tonnes a year earlier.
Gas exports to Europe were steady at 3.0 bcm. Total gas exports rose to 6.5 bcm from 6.0 bcm, the ministry said.
Exports to Turkey increased to 2.4 bcm from 2.3 bcm, while shipments to Georgia rose to 0.8 bcm from 0.7 bcm. Deliveries to Turkey via the TANAP pipeline climbed to 1.5 bcm from 1.4 bcm.
Azerbaijan also exported 0.3 bcm of gas to Syria, the ministry said.
