AzerGold’s first-quarter sales revenue rises 18%
Azerbaijan’s state-owned AzerGold said its revenue from product sales rose 18% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2026 to 102.4 million manats, of which 91.1 million manats came from gold and silver exports.
In January-March, AzerGold sold a total of 12,284 ounces of gold and 22,053 ounces of silver on domestic and foreign markets. Export revenue rose 26% from a year earlier, while domestic retail revenue jumped 102%.
Since the start of operations, the company has sold 572,300 ounces of gold and 1.1 million ounces of silver, bringing 2.04 billion manats into Azerbaijan’s economy. AzerGold has also paid a total of 281 million manats into the state budget, including 242 million manats in taxes and 39 million manats in social contributions.
