Nar became a partner of an international social initiative
Known for its affordable services, mobile operator Nar, while remaining committed to the principles of social responsibility, has supported the “Bench of Hope” project. As part of an event held in Baku, special wheeled chairs were provided to children with physical disabilities aged 6 to 12. In total, 60 children benefited from this initiative. The provided equipment not only facilitates the daily lives of the children, but also supports their more active integration into society. Being lightweight, comfortable, and compliant with international standards, as well as featuring an attractive design, they enhance both physical comfort and self-confidence.
“As Nar, within the framework of our ESG strategy, we place special emphasis on supporting vulnerable groups in society. Through initiatives such as the ‘Bench of Hope’, it is important for us to contribute to improving the quality of life of children with physical disabilities and to support their more active integration into society,” said Hokuma Kerimova, Director of Public Relations and Corporate Communications at Nar.
It should be noted that the international social initiative “Bench of Hope” has been implemented in more than 23 countries worldwide, supporting over 10,000 children, and is recognized as one of the exemplary initiatives in this field. In Azerbaijan, the project was carried out in partnership with the Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, at the initiative of the Embassy of the State of Israel in the Republic of Azerbaijan, and with the participation of Nar.
Currently serving 2.2 million subscribers, Nar has been the leading mobile operator in Azerbaijan for the past seven years based on the Customer Loyalty Index. This success is driven by the company’s consistent customer-centric strategy. Nar offers its users reliable and high-quality communication services at affordable prices, along with a variety of internet packages and modern eSIM technology.
