Azerbaijan gold output falls 17.3% in January-May

Azerbaijan produced 1,073.4 kg of gold in January-May 2026, down 17.3% from the same period last year, according to official statistics.

Silver production fell by 6.6% to 1,575.9 kg.

Output of copper concentrate rose sharply, increasing more than 11-fold to 10,140.5 tonnes.

As of June 1, industrial enterprises held stocks of 6,360.9 tonnes of copper concentrate, 474 kg of silver and 73.9 kg of gold.
