Russia sends protest note to Armenia

Russia has sent Armenia a protest note over the desecration of a Soviet monument in Gyumri, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

Zakharova said Moscow had protested to the Armenian side following the incident involving the monument.

No further details were immediately provided.
