Azerbaijan keeps dollar exchange rate unchanged

Azerbaijan’s central bank kept the official exchange rate of the manat against the U.S. dollar unchanged at 1.7000 manat per dollar.

According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, the euro was set at 1.9627 manat, while 100 Russian roubles were valued at 2.3231 manat.

The manat has remained stable against the dollar under Azerbaijan’s current exchange-rate policy, supported by strong foreign currency inflows from energy exports.
