BP and SOCAR representatives to attend Istanbul conference

Representatives of BP and SOCAR will take part in an international energy conference in Istanbul, organisers said.

The event is expected to focus on energy security, developments in the oil and gas industry, the energy transition and prospects for regional cooperation.

BP and SOCAR have long cooperated on major oil and gas projects in Azerbaijan, including the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz developments as well as regional pipeline infrastructure. 

Company representatives are also expected to participate in discussions on investment, decarbonisation and new energy projects.
