Bir, the Caucasus' first fully integrated digital ecosystem, has successfully concluded the Spark Student Innovation Program, launched with the aim of transforming the innovative ideas of young people into real solutions.

During the final stage of the five-month program, 9 teams presented their products and solutions to the jury. Leading up to the finals, participants received mentoring support from product owners within the Bir ecosystem and attended training sessions on various topics.

Based on the jury's evaluation at the finals, held at the Bir ecosystem's local innovation laboratory, Future Lab, three teams offering the most innovative solutions were named winners and awarded cash prizes. The KəndYol team secured first place (4000 AZN), the AEVIC Esports team took second place (2000 AZN), and the Booker team was awarded third place (1000 AZN).

The first-place winner, KəndYol, presented a solution aimed at establishing more efficient connections between producers and consumers in the agricultural sector. Given the project's social impact potential and sustainable development prospects, the jury awarded it first place.

The runner-up, AEVIC Esports, stood out with an approach focused on youth development and strengthening the country's esports ecosystem. The goal of this project is to support the discovery of new talent, foster their professional and career growth, and promote esports culture as a whole.

Finally, the project proposed by the Booker team aims to make knowledge and reading resources more accessible and efficiently shared, cultivate a reading culture, and bring together a broad community of readers. The project's potential for positive social impact was recognized by the jury with the third-place award.

In addition, members of all 9 teams participating in the finals have been accepted into an internship program across various business units within the Bir ecosystem. The objective is to bring together young people interested in new technologies and innovations, stimulate their career development, and provide them with opportunities to gain practical experience in a real-world working environment.

Bir is the first fully integrated banking, payments and e-commerce ecosystem of the Caucasus, redefining how people and businesses interact with daily services in Azerbaijan. Launched in 2025 to unite the country’s leading brands, including Birbank, the Birmarket e-commerce platform, Milliön payment terminals, and m10 e-wallet app, the Bir ecosystem reaches over 5 million users. Through its extensive ecosystem and strategic partnerships with Trendyol marketplace and the BakıKart transportation payment solution, Bir is building the foundation for Azerbaijan’s first and largest digital ecosystem for consumers and businesses.
