Natural gas prices rise on NYMEX

Natural gas futures rose in trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX).

The August natural gas contract gained $0.034, or 1.2%, to $2.86 per million British thermal units (MMBtu). Prices are based on the benchmark Henry Hub contract traded on NYMEX.
