European gas prices ease as Middle East diplomacy tempers supply concerns

European natural gas benchmark prices registered a decline as emerging diplomatic talks between Iran and Oman helped ease market fears regarding potential disruptions to regional liquefied natural gas (LNG) shipments, Reuters reported.

Front-month futures on the Dutch TTF hub slipped around 3%, trading near $380–$390 per thousand cubic meters (equivalent to approximately 34–35 euros per megawatt-hour).

Market analysts emphasized that softening geopolitical risk premiums around strategic maritime transit corridors, coupled with comfortably high storage injection levels across European Union facilities, continue to keep regional gas prices in check.
