Baku Stock Exchange total turnover down 35% in Jan-July

The total trading turnover on the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) reached 26.028 billion manats in January–July, marking a 35.3% decline compared to the same period last year.

A total of 40,559 transactions were executed on the exchange during the reporting period.

Transactions in government securities totaled 727.9 million manats, Central Bank bonds reached 1.154 billion manats, corporate securities accounted for 405.6 million manats, and mortgage bonds stood at 608.3 million manats.

REPO operations generated the largest trading volume, with turnover reaching 23.1 billion manats over the seven-month period.
