Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) is extending the advance booking window for tickets on the international Baku–Tbilisi–Baku passenger route.

The sales timeframe will be expanded in phases. Currently, passengers can purchase tickets 44 days prior to departure, up from the previous 30-day limit. In the near future, the booking window will gradually be extended to 90 days.

According to the company, the measure will enable passengers to plan their travel, business, and leisure trips further in advance. Additionally, the expanded booking period will allow ADY to forecast passenger demand more accurately and add extra carriages to trains when necessary.

ADY also noted that preparations continue for the launch of an additional service on the Baku–Tbilisi–Baku route. Georgian authorities are currently finalizing the required technical and organizational arrangements to put the new service into operation.
