Fitch has once again upgraded ABB Bank’s ratings!

Fitch Ratings has reviewed ABB Bank’s ratings and upgraded the Bank’s Long-Term Issuer Default Rating from BB to BB+. At the same time, ABB Bank’s Viability Rating was upgraded from bb to bb+. The rating outlook is Stable.

These are the highest ratings assigned to ABB Bank by Fitch in the past 15 years. Overall, ABB Bank currently holds the highest international ratings in the country’s financial sector.

The upgrade reflects ABB Bank’s continued strong financial profile and improved risk profile. According to Fitch experts, the Bank has a strong market position, a resilient balance-sheet structure and robust financial metrics. In the medium term, the Bank’s loan portfolio is expected to continue growing, while asset quality and profitability are projected to remain strong.
