Gold and silver ease from three-month highs
25.08.2026 11:30

Gold prices edged lower on Tuesday, August 25, pulling back from a three-month peak as market participants shifted focus to upcoming US inflation readings and remarks from Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh.

Spot gold slipped 0.2% to $4,640.39 per troy ounce, while US gold futures traded near $4,696. The retreat follows a recent rally underpinned by dollar weakness and the US Treasury's bond buyback initiatives. Concurrently, spot silver retreated 1.3% to trade at $68.01 per ounce.
