Global Oil Prices Climb on Middle East Supply Concerns: Brent Tops $91

Global crude oil prices moved higher during trading sessions, driven by mounting supply chain concerns. Brent crude November futures rose by $0.65, or 0.72%, to settle at $91.14 per barrel.

Concurrently, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude October futures gained $0.89, or 1.04%, advancing to $86.65 per barrel.

The upward trajectory in crude benchmarks follows escalating geopolitical frictions between the United States and Iran, which have amplified market anxieties regarding potential disruptions to shipping lanes through the Strait of Hormuz.
