Major digital assets posted broad declines over the past 24 hours amid macroeconomic pressure, according to data from CoinMarketCap cited by APA-Economics. Bitcoin slipped 1.59% to $77,459.47, while Ethereum fell 2.50% to trade at $2,411.26.

Downside pressure extended across the board, with BNB dropping 0.90% to $687.23, Zcash retreating 2.32% to $837.14, and Bittensor losing 4.55% to $220.05. Gold-backed tokens also softened, as PAX Gold declined 2.83% to $4,312.87 and Tether Gold dropped 2.88% to $4,303.51. The broader CoinMarketCap 20 Index fell 1.60% to 158.58 points.

The downturn reflects dampening risk appetite driven by expectations that US interest rates may remain elevated for longer, alongside widespread profit-taking by institutional and retail investors following recent rallies.
