Trump warns of global diesel crisis
A global shortage of oil refineries is driving a worldwide diesel crisis, US President Donald Trump said while responding to journalists' questions at the White House regarding elevated fuel prices.
"The problem is the lack of refineries," Trump stated. The US President also noted that escalating geopolitical tensions and the ongoing conflict in Ukraine continue to exert upward pressure on retail gasoline prices and broader energy markets.
