Kakha Kaladze condemns European Parliament resolutions
Kakha Kaladze, Secretary General of the ruling "Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia" party and Mayor of Tbilisi, stated that the European Parliament has lost its institutional credibility and continues to adopt unfair, biased resolutions against Georgia.
According to him, the documents passed by European lawmakers are driven by falsehoods, preconceptions, and political speculation, rendering them entirely devoid of real political value.
The remarks follow a recent European Parliament resolution condemning the Georgian government's intentions to ban opposition factions, demanding the immediate release of imprisoned opposition figures—including former president Mikheil Saakashvili—and advocating targeted sanctions against high-ranking state officials.
