Gold hits $4,222, silver reaches $61.36

Futures prices for precious metals edged higher on New York's COMEX commodity exchange. December 2026 delivery contracts for gold advanced by 0.14% to trade at $4,222 per troy ounce (31.1 grams).

Concurrently, silver futures for December settlement climbed by 0.5% to reach $61.36 per ounce.
