Bir launches new employment initiative for Karabakh residents

Bir launches new employment initiative for Karabakh residents
28.10.2026 10:36

Expanding its contributions to the restoration and reconstruction of Karabakh, the Bir ecosystem has launched a new initiative to support the professional development and labour market integration of citizens returning to their native lands.

Implemented jointly with the State Employment Agency (DMA) under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, the "Qayıt İş 2" project has officially begun. Successfully selected Karabakh residents will participate in specialized theoretical and practical training organized jointly by the Bir ecosystem and the DMA’s Karabakh Vocational Training Centre. Upon successful completion of the training phase, participants will apply their acquired skills in a real working environment and secure employment within the ecosystem.

The core objective of the initiative is to contribute to the professional potential of the participants, strengthen their practical skills, and expand their employment opportunities.

The project commenced with an introductory meeting held at the Bir headquarters. During the session, participants were introduced to the ecosystem's workplace culture and corporate values, gaining a clear understanding of the strategic milestones and the next phases of the program.

Supporting the employment of citizens returning to the Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur economic regions and expanding their access to modern digital financial services remains a distinct priority for the Bir ecosystem. To this end, a telesales centre representing the Milliön and m10 brands, which are united under the ecosystem, was launched in the city of Fuzuli last year. The centre currently employs 20 Karabakh residents who provide direct services to citizens.
