Crypto Market Rebounds Sharply as Bitcoin Breaks Past $80,000 Mark

Following a series of sharp declines in recent sessions, global digital asset markets recorded a widespread rally over the past 24 hours, lifting all major cryptocurrencies. According to CoinMarketCap metrics, Bitcoin jumped 4.72% on the day to trade at $80,374.24. Despite the daily resurgence, the asset remains down 6.10% over the last 30 days, while its total market capitalization recovered toward $1.62 trillion.
Major alternative tokens tracked the upward surge: Ethereum advanced 6.89% to $2,418.61, BNB climbed 3.55% to $713.49, Zcash gained 8.95% to reach $1,314.20, and Quant surged 8.35% to $206.83. Concurrently, Bittensor gained 5.14% ($234.86), Bitcoin Cash added 4.43% ($281.75), and Monero edged up 1.64% ($638.71).
Gold-backed tokens mirrored the rally in physical bullion, with PAX Gold (PAXG) advancing 4.55% to $4,129.11 and Tether Gold (XAUT) climbing 4.49% to $4,116.68. The CoinMarketCap 20 Index advanced 5.07% to 163.49 points. Market strategists suggest the rebound was fueled by dip-buying after heavy sell-offs, though persisting monthly losses caution that a full structural recovery remains pending.
