Two brothers shot dead in Georgia

An armed assailant opened fire on three brothers in the village of Lambalo in eastern Georgia, killing two on the spot, Anews.az reported.
The third brother survived the shooting. Preliminary reports indicate the victims had lived in Russia for years and recently returned to their native village; the attack occurred while they were en route to a relative's wedding.
Georgian authorities have yet to issue an official statement, though unconfirmed reports indicate the suspect was detained shortly after the assault. Investigators are weighing long-standing personal hostility or revenge as potential motives.
