Finland joins NATO’s “Nordic Response 24” exercise for first time

The North Atlantic Alliance (NATO) kicks off its large-scale military exercise "Nordic Response 24” on March 4, 2024, reported from foreign media.

The exercise takes place in the northern regions of Finland, Sweden, and Norway. Norway is the main organizer of the exercise, which will last until March 15.

Finland participates in NATO’s exercise for the first time, with about 4,100 troops from its official defense forces. "Nordic Response 24” involves land, sea, and air operations, with around 20,000 soldiers from 14 countries.
