Gas futures in Europe were trading in the red on March 28 morning – within $1,060-$1,130 per 1,000 cubic meters, which is 1.9-8.2% lower than the settlement price on March 25, reported from the London Stock Exchange ICE.

The cost of April futures on the index of the largest European hub TTF at the opening of the trading session amounted to almost $1,115 and dropped to $1,057.8. So far, this is the price low of trading and is 8.2% lower than March 25 settlement price of $1,151.8. Then the prices rose slightly, reaching a maximum of $1,129.7, which is 1.9% lower than the final price of the previous trading day.

In early March, due to fears of a ban on the purchase of Russian energy resources in Europe, gas prices renewed their historical highs for four days in a row, after which they fell by about a third by the middle of the month.
