Global oil prices declined slightly amid the uncertainty of economic forecast.

The October futures for North Sea Brent crude oil fell by 0.75% to $97.64 per barrel, and the September futures for WTI fell by 0.74% to $93.97 per barrel.

Traders continue to assess the prospects for oil demand amid heightened economic uncertainty. Central banks are trying to prevent the acceleration of inflation, which simultaneously increases market fears about a possible recession.
