Ilham Aliyev on OPEC+ deal

Ilham Aliyev on OPEC+ deal
22.01.2019 18:07
The extension of the agreement to reduce production within OPEC+ until the end of 2019 is advisable to maintain a balance in the oil market in the range of $60-70 per barrel, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said in an interview with TASS on the sidelines of the forum in Davos.

'I think that countries, companies and consumers are all interested in maintaining the price range around $60-70 per barrel. If there is a need for an extension in order to maintain this range, I think it would be wise to do it,' Ilham Aliyev said, answering the TASS question about whether Azerbaijan would support the position on the need to extend the deal on the reduction of production until the end of 2019.
