With thousands of people packed into the parks in China on Sunday morning, you might expect them to be filled with a noisy hustle and bustle.
But the parks were actually transformed into places of tranquility, as people practiced the calming ancient art of Tai Chi in a record-breaking day in the Henang Province.
As many as 50,000 people took part in the stunning displays in various prominent spots in the region, expected to be confirmed as the most ever by the Guinness Book Of World Records.
Residents took part in the shadow boxing displays at 15 different locations across Henang, wearing different coloured clothing to form patterns visible from vantage points in the area.
The art combines deep breathing and relaxation with slow and gentle movement and was originally developed as a martial art in 13th-century China, but is now practiced worldwide.
And it's associated with various health benefits for both the body and the mind, keeping people fitter for longer.
