Israel denies access to nearly half of Gaza humanitarian missions in October

The Israeli government has denied access to the Gaza Strip for nearly half of the 285 humanitarian missions planned since the beginning of October, according to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Reported from TASS that, according to OCHA, between October 1 and 14, a total of 285 humanitarian missions were scheduled, with 141 (49%) being denied access and only 85 (30%) receiving assistance. An additional 49 operations (17%) faced obstacles, while 10 missions (4%) were canceled due to logistical issues or security concerns.

In September, out of the 667 planned humanitarian missions to Gaza, only 305 received assistance, while 138 were denied access.
