Japan expresses readiness to offer $5 million in aid to Ukraine due to Kakhovka HPP disaster

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that Japan is ready to offer emergency humanitarian aid in the wake of the dam explosion and flooding, Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirokazu Matsuno said on Friday, reported from local media.

"The aid will be worth about $5 million and distributed via international organizations," he added.
