Kilicdaroglu may receive part of Ogan’s votes

Kilicdaroglu may receive part of Ogan’s votes
15.05.2023 14:00
Turkish opposition candidate Kemal Kilicdaroglu may receive some of the votes of Sinan Ogan, who dropped out of the presidential race (5.2%), but this may not be enough to win in the second round, a source in the main opposition Republican People’s Party told TASS.

"First, the parties will analyze the results of the vote, hold meetings. Ogan will try to orient his audience in accordance with what will be decided at these meetings. Now a purely populist process is starting in Türkiye. But it is obvious that Ogan will not be able to direct his entire electorate to Kilicdaroglu,” says the representative of the party.

Ogan is participating in the presidential elections from the ATA Alliance.
