Vernissage of Azerbaijani artists to open in Vienna International Center

Vienna International Center (VIC) comprises several international institutions such as IAEA, UNIDO, CTBTO and others. By implementing their missions, set by their member states these organizations play an important role in assurance of peace and security across the world as well as in industrial development of the world’s developing countries, implementation of the technical cooperation programs etc. 

A number of clubs operates within VIC that unite the employees of these organizations based on their interests such as winter and summer sport clubs, language training classes, the art club etc. The Art Club's mission is to organize art exhibitions of different artists from all over the world and introduce their paintings to the international community. The club's plan for this year provisions of organization of an art exhibition of Azerbaijani artists. The dates of the exhibition coincide with the celebration of Novruz festivities. The exhibition that is going to take place during 21 March - April 01, 2016 will present a collection of the colorful paintings of the young Azerbaijani artists Dilshad Imranova and Narmin Abdullayeva. At the exhibition titled as "ECHO OF THE COLOURS” both artists will introduce their best artworks that are devoted to the Novruz, their country of origin Azerbaijan, the spiritual world of the human beings etc. 

The VIC allocated one of the best venues within the compound for the young artists. A vernissage will take place on March 22, where the president of the Art Club Mr Raymond Nader will give an opening speech and introduce the artists and their works to the participants of the exhibition. So far, numerous people expressed their wishes to join the exhibition in order to get familiar with the paintings to be displayed and have an opportunity to asses them. The people who live in Vienna, in other cities of Austria as well as the employees of the VIC are willing to see the paintings done by oil on canvas by Azerbaijani artists. One shall emphasize that the artists, both Narmin and Dilshad thoroughly prepared for the exhibition and brought to Vienna a very rich collection of their paintings that would delight the audience, will introduce them to the homeland of the artists, its traditions and the art culture. The exhibition will turn into a great event for both the artists as well as the participants, where the people will exchange their opinions, provide their feedback and assess the artworks. That will enrich participants’ impressions of Azerbaijan, the best qualities of the art world of the country and its people. On the other hand, this event will increase the artists’ motivation to create new great artworks, strengthen their source of energy and inspiration.
