World renowned musicians steal show at Gabala International Music Festival

A concert of famous Azerbaijani musicians has been held as part of the 8th International Music Festival in Gabala, AzerTag reports.

The attendees heard works of Azerbaijani and European composers, performed by artistic director of the festival, rector of Baku Music Academy, People`s Artist Farhad Badalbayli (piano), Director of the Azerbaijan State Philarmony, Peoples`s Artist Murad Adigozalzade.

This year`s edition of the festival brings together world-renowned musicians, art ensembles, soloists and conductors from Azerbaijan and a number of foreign countries. It will also feature a piano contest.

Launched by Heydar Aliyev Foundation in 2009, Gabala International Music Festival is an annual open-air festival of classical music.
